News Update for 6.05.09
It's been quite a week here in G.W. Medical Land; we had some networking issues on Wednesday and Thursday, so if you sent us an email between 4:00pm on Tuesday and today, you might want to follow up if you haven't heard back - we've got a lot to catch up on. We've also been working diligently to finish up a number of titles, and are hoping to have some announcements in the near future.
It's Friday, though, and you're probably here for another reason: the weekly news update. I'm happy to say that we have time today for a full list, so here they are:
1. Irish bishops to brief pope on child abuse report
2. Suzanne Vega: SOS Children's Villages are "a place of safety"
3. UNICEF Chooses American Humane Association for Project
4. Struggle to find $1m for anti-abuse classes
5. Rape suspect must keep distance from witnesses
6. An unlikely hero
7. Nigeria: The Children's Message to Yar'Adua
8. "I never chose to be a prostitute"
9. North Korea silent about US journalists' trial
10. Lawyers Operate Without Borders Too
