News Update for 6.19.09
Another week, come and gone! It's always great to have a day or two to relax, but take some time this weekend to thank your father for bringing you into the world. Buy him a coffee, or a doughnut, or a tie - whatever works for you and your family. If he's gone, just spend a moment remembering the impact he made on your life - good or bad - and consider what impact you'd like to make on the lives of your own children, should you have any.
I'm taking my dad fishing this weekend, unless he changes his mind. We have a rule: Father's Day weekend we do whatever he wants, so long as it doesn't involve airplanes or bungee cords. The man's fearless, I tell you; it's not good for my mental well being.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
