La-La Land

So, it has been decided by the powers that be (which may or may not include my humble self) that I will be attending Book Expo America in Los Angeles tomorrow. I'm leaving St. Louis a bit later today, will arrive late tonight, and will be at the convention for the day tomorrow before coming back early Saturday morning.

In my absence, John will be covering the bases. You can contact him at john (at) gwmedical (dot) com with any questions or comments. If you're going to be at the convention and would like to meet up with me, John can try to make that happen. We don't have a booth this time, but sightings of a scruffy Midwestern editor will most likely be frequent.

Have a great weekend.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend

Well, it's the Friday before a three day weekend, and Glenn is letting us sneak out a bit early. We're going to be out of the office after 3:15pm CDT today and won't be back until 7:30am CDT on Tuesday. If you need to contact me, John, or Glenn, just click on our names to send us an email. I don't know about the other two, but I plan on checking my inbox over the weekend.

On behalf of the GW Medical crew, I'd like to wish everyone a happy and safe Memorial Day.

See you next week!

Online Curriculum

Hello, everyone! My name is John Wu Gabbert and I'm a new Associate Editor at GW Medical Publishing. I will be assisting Kerry in posting this blog. It's a pleasure to meet you.

The reason I'm posting today is to inform you of the availability of our first online training curriculum. It's entitled Physical Abuse & Neglect: An Online Training Curriculum. Kerry just told me that he finished uploading it now, so if you're a doctor or a nurse who is interested in earning some CME/CNE credit, simply follow this link:

It's as simple as that!

Online Education

So, I thought you might appreciate an update on the online version of the training curriculum; we're hopping about, trying to make it good to go by the end of the month. At present, I do believe we've managed everything in terms of data and other content; we're just proofing and making some small aesthetic adjustments to ensure that the quality of the finished product is up to snuff.

I'll keep you posted on the progress; hopefully, it won't be too much longer before we're ready to show off our newest line.
